Ice Storm in Southern Michigan causing power outages
Close to Record Low Ice Cover on the Great Lakes
Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan Significant Ice storm. It brought Ice accumulation totals from between a Glaze of ice all the way up to 0.78" of ice. From all the ice that was accumulating caused power lines to comedown. In Paw Paw Michigan a Fire Fighter died from a power line falling on him from the storm. Ice Storms are deadly because roads become impossible to drive, trees and power lines fall.
